Ah Pa'an Jinjang
As I was watering the many, scattered pots of flowers Ibu has (they're a badminton court apart, clustered), I noticed this middle-aged apek peeking through the gates. Before I could do anything else, he called me over and this is what he blurted:
"Eh, lu tau ka blapa lu punya tauke beli ini lumah? Musti banyak mahal woo."
Hmm.
Mistaking me as the 'gardener' is somewhat an unexpected feedback of the expected response we predicted that we would have received once we moved in. Confused? Well, in short, this is a corner lot house with 6 big palm trees around the curb, a Javanese-themed koi pond, a balanced, vast lawn and was decently renovated by the previous owner. When it was up for grabs, eeeeeeeeveryone expected that it'll have a new Chinese owner since the stakes it's quite high. And then Ibu loved the place, Ayah bought it and we crashed in. So call me Ah Pa'an from now on. I'll feng tau your sadness away.
This house is really the corner. It's the first house you'll notice coming in to USJ 6 from the Persiaran Kewajipan - Persiaran Murni cross road. And Persiaran Kewajipan -being the notorious bumper-to-bumper venue it is- showed lots of tragic entertainment lately. I've only been home for 3 days and I've seen 5 accidents. Nothing serious though.
I actually felt like slapping the apek's head silly. It'll be accident number 6.
