Coody

This is the souvenier pen we got for voting yesterday. Results came in and, congratulations Lokman. The thought of anyone being Yang Di-Pertua is unthinkable. You fit the bill. Go tiger. Make the faculty proud.

Well, well. I've lived this long have'nt I? A day left and 19 will soon follow. It's this time of the year again that I have long since look forward to. Turning a year older is just a sad excuse to have presents and gifts 'donated' to you. Yes, it would be hypocritical of me to claim as such but I believe it does imply to me these days. Looking forward or excruciatingly predicting what to receive from those that you hoped for on your day of birth is nothing more than a momentary relief from reality. After that, it's back to the real world facing hardships and much unwanted shits. Stressing out on getting gifts as a sign of acknowledgment is not my motion here. I'm merely putting a piece of mind on print. Merely expressing point of views. Celebrating days such as these should be beyond that. Thoughtful is a good start but meaningful and resonance is the right word for it. But then again, if you find this pointless, embrace the ones you love and my apologies is yours to claim. Being sensible is hard. Seeing bad things coming does not help at all. Trust no one.

This is another attempt in creating an art piece. Right eye: Me, Middle-finger: Zhaf, Olympic-like pose: Ijoy. We were bored. And so were our souls.

In a space of two days, two losses has been grieved upon. Adam lost his helmet on Tuesday and Am's 3310 went MIA the day after. Tough luck. The FAR quiz we did earlier today provided a little relief. Partly because my answers are almost accurate than the others and also because a quiz down, 5 more tests to go. While I was busy calculating quarterly instalments and monthly depreciations, my phone went buzzing in my cargo pocket. It was Jehan. Texting an early birthday greeting. Thanks dear. It's like FAR's Test 1 all over again. I was sweating bullets cracking my head to find the precise pre sum and the exact post amount when she texted me asking what was anak dara tua in English (Thank you, Li). Amidst all the tension, that text of hers did managed to squeeze out a weary smile from me before shutting the phone off and resume the clicking activity on the calculator. I don't know why, but everytime Delta Goodrem's Lost Without You beems from my stereo I can't seem to get the thought of her out of my head. The fact that she introduced it to me might've explain it but it seems rather inaccurate. A better reason is there to be uncovered. Who can tell but time?

I never did this before but I just have to post Alia's Friendster Testimonial she gave me. Everybody, aww.....

Alia, 09/16/2004:
I never knew one could call someone one
of their best friends after just a few
weeks, but I was proved wrong when I met
Mr Thorndyke Edwads (betul ke spelling
kali nih?). I've known him for just the
shortest amount of time and he's already
endeared himself to me in monstrous
amounts, from one-upping the other about
our CD collection, to fleeting
suggestions of dating for fun (remember
the rebound hunt?) and him teasing me
endlessly about a certain event that
will never be mentioned again. Two
months and I already heart this boy!
Watch out for us, the duo that will take
over yer speakerboxxes by the end of the
year, don't say I didn't warn ya. I'm
waiting for you to get back, Pa'an,
we've got some serious work to be done
with our multitude of instruments. And I
meant musical instruments, everybody. Hehh.

Thanks dear. Touche.

Be nice & happy hunting everyone.

-I need you. Whomever you may be. I need you-
