Harry Potter Dan Gelas Berapi: "...acting like a babbling, bumbling bunch of baboons."
No, it didn't stink. Just a quote from Professor McGonagall regarding the Yule Ball. It's funny, but the follow-up to it was hysterically executed by the Weasley twins.
Speaking of which, the Jarvis Cocker-Phil Selway-Jonny Greenwood band (there's a name for them in the book that I forgot) played 3 indie wet-dream songs, the swankiest any of them has made, gave the ball scene a prom twist which is kinda inviting and reflects -even for the likes of potential wizards- that kids are just kids. The drama, the ego. Everything's in its right place.
So much has been said about the movie (from critics, friends, and bloggers alike) that it made me kinda reluctant to write about it. Well, it's swell as any other Potter installments with its expected flaws nonetheless. I've heard of almost everyone raving about how cute Katie Leung was playing Potter's crush, Cho Chang but no one told me that Clemence Poesy (who played Triwizard contender, Fleur Delacour) was hot in swimsuits. She is!
By the way, here's something about the zine I'm writing for. Courtesy of Nazirah.

"Earwax" is the column I share with Hafeez along with someone else. Yeah, ignore the debut date. It'll be out sometime. Soon. Flyer's neat eh?
I'm thinking of Pontianak next Wednesday. Any takers?
