Kidney Garden of Kings

Ayah has been admitted to Hospital Kuala Terengganu. Apparently he was in Dungun visitng Ki. He's suspected to have contracted either gastric or appendicitis. Gave him a call. He sounded very, very wobbly I can barely make out what was coming out from the phone's speaker. It's always very alarming whenever he fell ill but to be admitted into a ward is like a sudden, violent wake-up call. He's concern about the health of others so much that he ignores his own. His diet/apetite didn't help either. Once he spent a week or two eating only two bananas for breakfast, lunch & dinner. In a nutshell, he's a devoted workaholic and luckily, a devoted family man as well. So you pretty much get the picture at it's most accurate, yes? He's not lanky nor he is anorexic. He leads a more active lifestyle than any of us in the family. I guess old age is catching up with him. Too soon. He's only 55. Take a look.

This is us in Indurrah Apartments in Marylebone district. West End. It's taken some 3-4 months ago and this is the latest family potrait.

The tone of Ibu's voice on the phone adds more sorrow to the grief. Not only I'm concerned about Ayah's well-being, I'm even worried of her. The burden can be too much. She herself is not at her fittest. Still having asthma attacks once in a while. An her back is aching up again. So 'mobility' isn't her strong suit as of late. She's visiting him on a day trip tomorrow. Alone. Moments like this makes me feel useless. I should be there. At least at home making sure things are in their supposed order. Can't really rely on those two albeit their independant nature. I have a bad feeling about this. Something's not right...

On a lighter note, I met Mawar on YM after quite a while. She's doing her practicals in Senai Airport. Only mere minutes from home. Our conversation was interrupted a few times since it was'nt her free time and her superior kept asking her for things. Without no apparent reason, she logged off and we ended abruptly. Perhaps she was busted. Heh.

It rained again.

Me: I feel sad when it rains.
Thorndyke: No, my friend. It rains because you're feeling sad.

There you go.

Be nice & happy hunting everyone.

-I need you. Whomever you may be. I need you-
