"I jumped in the river and what did I see?"
Yippie! Thanks to Razi, now I'm a proud owner of King Of Convenience's I'd Rather Dance With You cute video clip from the new album, Riot On An Empty Street. Freshly recorded from TV3's Channel [V] Smash Hits this morning. Ah, the wonders of a TV card. But the only downside of having the video is that it has the TV3 logo emblazoned on the top right corner. Other than that, the audio and picture quality is very decent enough.
Apparently, that was the only thing that's worth a mention of enthusiasm for the day. I woke up at 11 at the buzz of my phone. A text from Amy and two texts from Fuzzy. Amy was being her caring self as usual. That's what I like about her (And also the fact that when Hefleft was starting out, she was a generous benefactor and funded our jamm sessions although we were literally crappy.). I don't believe that we're that close but it does'nt seem to be a factor. Izzat's lucky to have her as a sis. When asked about her well-being, she's worried sick about the SPM trials she's having now. Typical Amy. Fuzzy was complaining about her MGT trip post-mortem and the dinner pics (By the way Fuzzy, I'd like to see them). So it's safe to claim that our class is still the proud record holder for the shortest post-mortem ever. It was under 1 hour. Heh.
Faiz texted me later in the afternoon proclaiming the brilliance of DDA's Ape Kill Ape. Tell me something I don't know, bro. Hafeez did that yesterday by stating that it retails at RM27. Neat. Li's text came soon enough. She's torn between Cast Of Thousands and You Are The Quarry. I told her to go for the latter. Morrissey is great songwriter and he's damn good at storytelling. But Guy Garvey and his lot won her favour with the help of Alia and a cheaper price tag. Still, a brilliant choice. Oh, and Alia, enjoy the Kit Kat gig. Gig safe.
This was the first weekend that Ijoy spent it here in Bote instead of home. We talked a lot about so many issues. He's the only one here of the entire male population where I can talk and argue about anything, sensibly. Having him here for the entire weekend brought some sense back into me. Thanks for the company dear friend, thank you.
Adam took the IXUS for the day since he's off to Penang with Nad and Tipah to meet up Tipah's skater beau. Brought back six short clips which we believed was mainly recorded for making us wishing that we were there. Sad attempt bro, sad attempt. Cruel intention kills.
Today's neat factor: I just realized that we wrote Schizophrenia on the 25th of August of last year. Syahir pointed that out. So Fuzzy, when it's fully recorded, my dedication goes to you. Your birthday song.
I made a deal with Amir that if I accompany him to the dentist on Tuesday, he'll allow me to record a footage of the doctor pulling his rotten tooth out. That ought to be fun. Oh shit, my MOCK trial's tomorrow. Bummer.
Be nice & happy hunting everyone.
-I need you. Whomever you may be. I need you-

the video is NOT cool. it is disturbingly paedophilic. but the song's good though.
