Good going
Hmm.
I think I'm getting used to this late night/early morning blogging time. I'm taking things bit by bit. Got tired of rushing it all.
Went to Pyramid with the familia circa lunch time to get Bibil's belated birthday gift. The mall sure was lively. There's this recycle campaign thingie going on at the centre circle en route to Star Archery and a Teh Tarik challenge at the front entrance centre circle. I-Zone was as always; jam packed. I got an eyeful of *ahem* eye-candies.
I wasn't planning on buying anything but as I swung by Fantasy to check out what's new on their racks my eyes were fixed at the 'New Releases' corner. It was Love Me Butch's This Is The New Pop. Long story short, I'm in total cash-deprivation mode.
As we were leaving for KGNS for lunch, Ibu -surprisingly- took a bend at Tower Records. There were back-dated CDs going at Rm 10 for 3 pieces. Since Farah has the cash, and we were then so eager to discover new stuffs and the rest, is history. Farah took some poetry CD by Luis Campos and I got the bigger portion of the cake by bagging Deathray's and McKinley's debut release. So far, both has 'good bargain' tampered all over them.
So to date, here's the latest entry to Schmaltzs:
- Denali's both albums.
- Metric's both official releases.
- Love Me Butch's latest LP.
- Deathray's debut.
- McKinley's debut.
I've recently acquired shitloads of songs by Ours. A few tracks away from their complete discography. If you like Jeff Buckley's operatic music akin to Grace, you should check them out. Being a far-too-late Buckley fan, they're as good as he was or decently simillar to the very least. My best bet for the next flag-bearer for the bombast-pop movement.
As I was trying to understand the words that spewed out from Syahrul's 'post-rage' scream/sing technique (is there such a thing by the way?), Izzat gave a buzz for a round of teh ais somewhere near. Got Adam to join us later on and that kinda led us to the most unbelieveably irritating incident ever. I wouldn't want to talk about it. It was such a killjoy that I still can't get it out of my head as much as I want to. Afterwards we went to Mokh's place since we haven't meet each other for the longest time. Good thing that Pojam was there as well. So all 5 of us went to SS2 for supper (again?). It was fun when all of us squeezed into Izzat's brand new Kelisa laughed about the old times along the way. I think Mokh's half serious when he said he wants me to tag along with him to Singapore for a job sometime next week. But knowing him, that'll probably won't happen. So the 'no-rush' thingie with Pojam will (hopefully) commence sometime soon. Now that I have his number and know where he sleeps (oh stalker me) it's only a matter of time before we crunch those chords and bang those beats.
I'll be doing my one-on-one driving test with Ayah on Sunday morning. Cross those fingers for me. I seriously need to drive. I'm sensing that my life will be dependent on it soon.
