Word

The thing I hate the most when it comes to guitar is; changing the strings. It consumes a ridiculous amount of time and inane attention to the string tension to avoid unexpected snapping. It can be hazardous too. I've 'punctured' 6 fingers. Oh well, boo hoo.

So now my Jag's as good as new and I can't wait to head to Mokh's place for a session or two. I intended to record some riffs to day on my Lappie using the Jag because I need to start somewhere.

Shit.

The amp's buzzing.

I guess it's because I haven't been using the Ibanez Tone Blaster amp for quite a while and something fucked up the power cable. The buzz is horribly irritating. Thrashed my mood there and then. Using the kapok for recording at this moment is not a wise option 'cause the new strings are insanely 'coarse'.

I've set up a Myspace page for starsucker & the wide-white band. Uploaded 3 (old) songs but the whole thing's kinda tacky. But it's a start. Go here.

I wanted to write a review on Love Me Butch's This Is The New Pop. But I can't. Something's not right and I can't point my finger just yet. Perhaps I didn't feel it. It's an awesome record but maybe I wasn't 'attached' to it in one way or another. Perhaps.

I need to sort out myself.
