Peek A Boo
Hello.
I'm bored at the moment, so here goes.
The weekend in Dungun was o.k. I guess. Despite the insanely humid, rain-less weather and tiresome long-hours of killing time, everything else was quite fine. Spending 4 days there could've been a total boredom if Aunt. Ani, Aunt. Su and family didn't tag along. Before we left, we had a lil' chit chat with Aunt. Dian since she and the whole family was on their way to Klang. I caught a glimpse of Baby -her niece from Medan- and my isn't she a killer. A killer with a killer brain as well. She scored brillintly in her SPM and is applying for aeronautical engineering whereever possible. I haven't seen her for quite a while so I took the chance to catch more than a glimpse. She's fine. And I swear she was looking my way. I don't care for what reasons, but she did look my way. Almost left me grinning the whole day. Since we arrived at half past 9 (the journey was surprisingly bloody stressful), I crashed straight away and missed Subuh along the process.
Nothing exciting happened the next day. Except during lunch. It was then that I knew that I had another cousin. She's Kak Ayu's 17- year old sis. Siti Fatimah. She's sweet and all but she sure is a sight for (the slightest of) sore eyes. Well, we didn't utter a single word but I spend most of my time observing. She looks shy, but on the other hand she's not timid. I sensed that there's an urgency for us to have a decent conversation but we typically gave in to our ego and segan-ness.
I'll make sure the next time we'll be exchanging phone digits. Promise.
Well, the first meeting with the members of the 'no-rush' project was quite swell. I'm glad that we're all on the same terms. I really want this to happen. I really wanna have fun. This project band is potentially a good outlet for me to let go of my strenuous tensions with starsucker and the wide-white band and the soon-to-be-reshuffled Anjakan Paradigma. Fun music made with fun peeps. We'll be meeting tomorow at Azmir's place (sans Shazri. He's in the middle of his finals) to work on his bass line. Wish us luck everyone. We need the big break. Completing a song seems a big one. Oh, we're treading the instrumental route. Yeah, my forte (Heh).
Catch ya'll later.
